We can help individuals achieve their potential by taking inspiration from the H.O.P.E framework. It is a toolkit that will help empower people to look at all aspects of their life. We break this down by looking at Health, the Opportunities we can provide, individual Progression and how we Evaluate and evolve achievements.
We understand that everybody’s journey is different so we work with people to identify, believe in, and reach their goals. We celebrate progress, no matter how small, to recognise and appreciate the hard work, growth and resilience that goes into every achievement.

Activities
We are fortunate to have a large, dedicated, activities team, comprising five passionate professionals who create a wide variety of engaging and enriching exeperiences tailored to each individual need. With a diverse range of activities designed to stimulate the mind, body and soul, our team ensures every resident can participate in fulfllling experiences that have meaning to them. From creative workshops and group games, to social outings and physical excercise, our team is committed in promoting well-being, building connections, and enhancing quality of life.
Led by a Lead Activity Coordinator, the team are equipped to support both one on one sessions and group activities, ensuring flexibility to meet individual need as well as providing opportunities for social engagement in group settings.
At Hengoed, the fun doesn’t stop at weekends. We offer a calendar of activities 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so there is always something to enjoy. But don’t take our word for it – take a peek at an example weekly plan below and see for yourself!

Fee structure
We work with Individual Commissioning Boards and Local Authorities across the UK to provide support solutions that have positive outcomes. We also accept privately funded individuals.

Hengoed Park has a calm, welcoming atmosphere and all staff on duty were friendly and approachable. I found the home to be clean and well maintained throughout and the residents I observed seemed happy and comfortable in their surroundings. During my visit, I observed a number of areas where the home appears to be performing nicely and things are working well.
